Our Mission
To enhance the human-animal bond through positive, humane training and education.

Dog & Cat is located in Eugene, OR. We provide group classes and private training and behavior counseling for all ages of dogs and cats. I first started training animals part-time 7 years ago as a volunteer for a shelter in San Diego, California. Part-time volunteer work turned into a full-time passion working at San Diego Humane Society & SPCA in their cutting edge Behavior & Training Department. I love working with animals and their owners to help create lasting, loving relationships. I am a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (only 37 in the state of Oregon), and have worked with and trained dogs, cats, birds, horses, and goats!

What is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT)?
Certified Pet Dog Trainers are certified by the Certification Counsel for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). The certification program is based on humane training practices and the latest scientific knowledge related to dog training. Competence and continued growth in training practices is promoted through CCPDTs recertification program. Re-certification is required every three years. Visit CCPDT for more information.
